How do you record transactions in a journal?

I am using Home & Business and record all transactions for my wife’s shop and at times have to transfer between her personal and business accounts. On this transaction, Accounts Receivable has a debit of $1,200. The record is placed on the debit side of the Accounts Receivable T-account underneath the January 10 record.
